Punk Monster was created to create a cyberpunk universe. This parallel universe is where technology has advanced to the point that it brings people convenience, but large, faceless corporations run the world and collect large amounts of personal data. They also violate the privacy rights of ordinary citizens. Social division is getting worse. The player plays the role of a gang leader who is determined to change the status-quo. He leads his own gangsters against the slavery of the Chaebol and then jumps into what’s called the “Crypto War”.
